CEA CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT UNIVERSITY GRANT PROGRAM
Mission
The mission of the CEA Construction Management University Program is to award grants to universities that educate students pursuing degrees leading to a career in the construction industry and to develop a network with these universities. This program will demonstrate CEA's committment to support and promote education within the building construction industry. In addition, the program will enhance CEA and its members’ relationships with prominent university construction management programs and their graduates.
Participating Universities
CEA has identified six universities in Northern California that meet our criteria for funding: University of California, Berkeley; California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo; California State University, Chico; California State University, Fresno; California State University, Sacramento and Stanford University. Collectively, these universities graduate approximately 230 construction management students each year.
Grant Awards
The CEA Construction Management University Grant Program Committee is empowered to review grant applications and provide recommendations to the CEA Board of Directors for final approval. The CEA Construction Management University Grant Program Committee evaluates grant applications based on several factors, including impact to the building construction industry and the quality of the grant request. Since CEA has started this Program, each university that has applied for funding has been awarded grants.
