CEA Sponsors Safety Seminar

April 4, 2000

The Construction Employers’ Association's recent safety seminar and forum at the Sheraton Concord Hotel proved to be very informative.

Doug Swenson, corporate safety trainer for M.A. Mortenson Company gave a presentation on fall protection to more than 75 safety officers and key jobsite personnel of CEA member firms.

Other program highlights included discussions on:

• General contractor's responsibilities
• Essential elements of systems
• Specialized equipment training
• Controlled access zones
• CAL-OSHA Regulations
• Rescue plans
